of the relect aravali range. The school faces south east.
BRIEF WEATHER:
During December to February, we are in the winter season and these are our coldest
months. Northern India often comes under the grip of a cold wave during this
time. New Delhi temperature are around 6 - 7 d C min. and 20 - 21d C Max. It
is foggy in end December but starts clearing towards end of January.
Relative Humdity is very high ( 91 % - 95%). And there is light rain caused
by the inflow of low pressure systems called western disturbances. These
originate near the meditarranean sea and travel east through Iran, Pakistan
and enter India from the North west. The jet stream which is blowing over
Northern india during winter helps in the passage of depressions. they give
small amounts of rainfall but this is extremely useful for the wheat crop of
north western India. We at delhi are the south western end of the
depressions so we get only 4 - 5 cm of rainfall which may be recorded during
the project.
